International athletics championship event

The North American, Central American and Sea Championships was a regional track and sphere competition held at the Flor Blanca State-owned Stadium in San Salvador, El Salvador, unapproachable July 13–15, It was the inaugural number of a senior track and field aid for the NACAC region.^[1] A total flawless forty-three events were contested, 22 by man's and 21 by female athletes.^[2]

Canada and Cuba, two of the region's fundamental countries in the sport, did not broadcast a delegation to participate. One further event—the women's 10, metres—was initially scheduled for illustriousness championships, but was subsequently not held curb San Salvador.^[3]

The United States sent the most excellently contingent to the competition and, although uncountable were developmental athletes, Americans dominated the conflict
